Quick answer
A 5-day Mysuru and Coorg tour from Bengaluru covers Srirangapatna and Mysuru Palace (1 night) and three nights at a Coorg coffee-estate homestay, with Namdroling Monastery, Abbey Falls and Raja's Seat. It costs from ₹21,500 per person, suits couples and families, and October to May is best.
Trip Overview
A classic South Indian loop from Bengaluru: Tipu Sultan's Srirangapatna and the illuminated Mysuru Palace, Chamundi Hill and the flower market, then west to the misty Kodagu hills. You stay three nights on a working coffee estate, which is far more memorable than a hotel in Madikeri.
The route stops at Bylakuppe's Namdroling Monastery, a Tibetan settlement, and adds Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat and a guided plantation walk. Mysuru Palace is lit up on Sundays and holidays from 7 pm, so we plan your first evening around that where we can.
