Our story
From a Day Trip With Nothing to Read
Travel Xamp was started by Vishal Tiwari, a tourism student from Muzaffarpur, after a search for one ordinary day trip came up almost empty.
Muzaffarpur, Bihar
A small town and no fixed plan
Vishal Tiwari grew up in Muzaffarpur and went to school there. He did well, but until class 11 he had little idea where it was all heading.
Varanasi
A different course, and a blog for the next student
He wanted to study Computer Science, but circumstances took him to Tourism Management at Banaras Hindu University. When he missed the seat in the subject he had hoped for, he decided other applicants should never be left guessing, and started BHU Express in his first year to share admissions information. It has since grown into a media platform at BHU.

March 2020
A lockdown spent learning
With the country in lockdown, Vishal taught himself content writing, SEO, web design and app development, using whatever free material the internet offered.
November 2020
A day trip with nothing to read
He planned a one-day visit to Vaishali, about 45 km from home and known as the world's first republic. A search turned up barely enough to fill the day. The place was rich in history; the web simply did not say so.
Late 2020
Travel Xamp begins
That gap became a website: first a guide to India's famous and little-known destinations, then a bridge between rural and urban India, then a platform for local businesses, travel bloggers and online training in SEO and content writing.

The same habit of checking facts now goes into trips. From its base in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Travel Xamp plans handcrafted India itineraries with real distances, drive times and honest prices, for travellers from India and abroad.

That profile reported that the website then covered 200+ destinations, drew 3,00,000+ monthly visitors and had trained 180+ students in content writing and SEO. Do I pay anything to enquire?+
No. Enquiries are free and nothing is booked until you approve the final plan in writing.
Are these group tours or private trips?+
Most trips are private for your group, with your own cab and guides. Some routes also run on small-group dates.
Can you customise a package?+
Always. Change the dates, the hotels, the pace or the route. Our packages are a starting point.
Are prices per person?+
Yes, per person on twin sharing, land only. Single rooms, children and group discounts are quoted separately.
Do you help international visitors?+
Yes. We plan for visitors from abroad and help with e-Visa questions, airport pickups, SIM cards and permits.
