Hello Everyone. I hope you are well and good. Yogesh Karn this side. I am a student of master’s in Tourism & Events. Let’s travel together on my journey to Andaman & Nicobar. My Journey starts from Kolkata airport to PortBlair Airport Due to the rain during that period, the temperature was highly humid at Port Blair.

The driver was waiting for us outside the airport to take us up because we had booked our tour package through an agent. “Hotel Amigrace” was the name of the hotel in Port Blair where we stayed. I was eager to discover Port Blair when I arrived at the Hotel, but I ultimately opted to take a short nap due to exhaustion. In Port Blair, there are various options for accommodation, ranging from cheap accommodation to luxurious hotels.

Ethnographic Museum

Zonal Anthropological

We started by visiting the Port Blair Zonal Anthropological Museum. The museum charges a small entrance fee of Rs. 10 per person and Rs 20 for cameras. The museum provides a look into Andaman culture. The Andaman tribe’s weapons, tools, utensils, and other items are saved for exhibition.

Black Water

Cellular Jail

Cellular Jail which portrays the history of the Indian liberation struggle, was the next place we went. The British specifically employed Cellular Jail, also known as KALA PANI, as a colonial prison in Andaman and Nicobar for foreign political prisoners.

Stunning Beaches

Havelock Island

Havelock Island, Andaman & Nicobar Islands

On the next day, a trip to “Havelock Island” was on the to-do list. Both a ferry and a seaplane service serve Havelock. Every day, starting at six in the morning, a number of public and private ferries travel between Port Blair and Havelock. The Makruzz is where you must get on the ferry. It’s necessary to remember that you must get your tickets well in advance. We made the decision to go to the deck after 30 minutes of sitting. We spent the whole trip to Havelock on the deck, taking in the big ocean and the calming sound of the waves hitting the ship. Feeling the cool air and spending time with my family was indeed a great experience.

Radha Nagar Beach

Radhanagar Beach, Andaman

The goal was to travel to Beach No. 7, also known as “Radha Nagar Beach,” which is Blue certified beach located on Havelock Island and was voted the “Best Beach in Asia” by TIME magazine in 2004. There are other well-known beaches on Havelock as well, but due to time restrictions, we could only visit the most famous ones. You will be amazed by the location’s amazing beauty the moment you step on the Beach. Without a doubt, it is the nicest beach you will ever see in India. Unforgettable white sand and brilliantly blue waves in a curve surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees. Please try to keep the area clean whenever you visit these kinds of locations and don’t litter or leave anything behind that detracts from the beauty of the area. One of the reasons this beach is so clean and lovely is that fewer people visit there.

Corbyn’s Cove Beach

Corbyn’s Cove Beach was the next place on the list. The Corbyn’s Cove Beach is a well-known and frequently visited location on the Andaman Island. It is a beach where you may engage in water sports like speed boat rides, jet ski rides, and banana boat rides every day. It is available at all times for tourists to spend time with their loved ones. Overall, I can say that a wonderful location for a short evening visit.

North Bay Island

Our upcoming excursion will be scuba diving. One of the best places around Port Blair for snorkeling and sea walking, It’s on North Bay Island. This island, which is surrounded by a flourishing coral reef, receives many tourists every day. You can reserve these activities through your travel agent, however, we opted to do so after arriving at the destination.

We all decided to leave because of exhaustion and returned to our hotel for some rest the reason for returning because we had to catch our flight the following morning to Kochi, Kerela.

Conclusion

We will all remember this journey for the rest of our lives. Our memories are still lively, particularly the fantastic experiences we had jet skiing, scuba diving, and visiting Radhanagar Beach, one of the most breathtaking beaches we’ve ever seen. I’ll conclude my blog post here, but the trip will go on. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you joining me on this exciting adventure. Thank you.
