The IITFC program is a digital initiative of the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) for the citizens of India to be a part of the booming travel & tourism industry. It is an online program where anyone can learn about the heritage, culture, destinations, tourism ethics and different aspects of tourism at their own time, place, route and pace. Successful completion of this program will enable the learner to become a certified tourist facilitator of the Ministry of Tourism.

The successful completion of the course would certify the tourist facilitated from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

For the successful completion of this certificate program, candidates need to clear these 5 steps:

  1. Completion of all the 7 modules
  2. IITFC Examination
  3. Communication Seminar
  4. Document verification
  5. Police verification

As of December 21, 2020, 6402 persons had registered under the IITFC Programme and around 2193 persons have completed their Communication seminar from the first batch of the IITFC course.

In this article, I’m going to tell you about “How to get your IITFC police verification done”. So let”s get started.

Steps to get your IITFC Police Verification done

Step 1:

Print out the letter which you have got via e-mail regarding police verification along with your OCC certificate.

Step 2:

Now, you need to approach the SP (Superintendent of Police) office.

Step 3:

You can apply via online mode as well on the digitalpolice.gov.in website.

Step 4:

After then, a letter will be forwarded to your nearest police station. Your nearest police station may call you.

Step 5:

Once your verification will be done by your nearest police station, they will forward their remarks to the SP office again.

Step 6:

Now, they will issue your character certificate, which you may either download from the portal or ask for the physical copy if you have applied offline.

Note: This whole process may take from 10-14 days.
