Rishikesh is a city in Uttarakhand. It has an immense beauty of having mountains, hills, rivers and other things as well. It has the Ganges River coming down from the Himalayas. It is the most popular tourist spot. It is a holy town with a very pleasant weather. It is a getaway to the Himalayas. it is a peaceful place with a Holy Spirit and people having faith in goddesses. Yoga and Meditation are widely popular in this city.

Stay in Rishikesh

Well, The stay in Rishikesh was pretty nice. I went to this city alone and stayed for 2 days there and surprisingly, I met people there and somehow, we became friends, Yes from strangers to friends. We stayed in a mountain-based view resort which had a stunning view. It had a big beautiful mountain view which described the immense charm and beauty of this city.

Food Places in Rishikesh

If you are ever visiting Rishikesh or even planning then I would suggest the popular places where you can experience the city’s cuisines and their delicacies. At first, we visited Chotiwala where they serve Great Indian food with different types of thalis. Post then, we visited The Office where they serve sweet Samosas filled with Mango, chocolate and other exotic flavours as well. After that in the evening, we visited Shiva resort which is a place away from the hustle and bustle market of Ram Jhula. So, here are the places that I have visited and would recommend you to visit these places if you visit Rishikesh.

Bungee Jumping at Rishikesh

Well, as I mentioned previously it’s a place with tourist attractions with interesting things to do which I am going to tell you about in this article. Firstly, I would highly recommend you to do Water rafting which is a must-do thing in this city. Rafting in the Ganges River is the most exciting and fun thing to do. It was so much fun to experience this kind of Sport. Secondly, taking a holy dip in the Ganges river with spiritual healing powers. I took a dip in the Ganges river which was so liberating for me. You can also try Bungee Jumping at Jumpinn Heights. And lastly, The Laxman Jhula is very popular among the tourists. It’s a bridge across the River Ganga which I would definitely recommend. So these are the must-do things according to me to do in Rishikesh.

What I discovered?

So, I got this amazing opportunity to travel to this beautiful city where I got the peace and a sense of joy that travelling gives me. I like to travel to different locations and explore their culture and beauty. I realize the power of god as people have immense faith in lord Krishna and another goddess. I saw the Ganges river which was so peaceful to watch, the sound of this flowing river is insane. I met different people there and connected with them and we dived in the Ganga river.

Meeting different people exploring their cultures and food and seeing their faith in God. Mountains, Hills, and Valleys were the utmost beauty I saw in this beautiful city. The wind and air in this location were also a refreshing memory that I never imagined. Vibing with the people and enjoying the beauty of nature was all I needed. Travelling gives me a sense of joy and peace, it also unfolded a part of me that I never knew existed. So, this was my experience of travelling to Rishikesh.
