Travelling is a very important part of life as it is the best way to get out of a busy schedule. There are many reasons why humans loved to travel.

Some People travel For discovering new lands and to interact with different people, by learning about a different culture, food, music, festivals and the way people of different parts of the world live their day to day life, Where Some people travel for finding peace, happiness and self-love. Our daily lives are filled with so many stressful situations, whether it’s work deadlines or a hectic home life. Taking some time away from those things, by travelling to a  new destination or a destination where you always love to go, is an ideal way to clear your head and de-stress.

1. Travelling is very important for mental health

Travelling is a good remedy for stress, anxiety and depression. Travelling promotes happiness and helps you to take your mind off stressful situations. The new atmosphere brings a sense of peace. It is the best way to leave sadness, hurtful memories or pain.

2. Travelling develops skills you didn’t know you had

Sometimes it is only away from home that you realize that you have got skills that you have never used. It is the journey that brings them to the surface and makes you smile, content to reach the top of the mountain , or cross a gorge or help a villager clean up after a storm.

There’s something satisfying about being able to throw around a few words of Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi and, knowing how to say thanks in Greek and French , pulling out that long dormant Spanish to book a room in Santiago , or a simply hearing a language you didn’t know existed just a few weeks before. Travel helps you to gain  knowledge about new culture , traditions , festivals and cuisine. It provides practical historical knowledge.

Let’s face it. Even for the one’s who can’t tell a story, just the words “ Last year in  Rajasthan” get you instant party points. Even when events seem trivial, nostalgia and distance create an irresistible spin that makes mundane things like getting your laundry done in Uttarakhand, entertaining. just don’t be that person and overdo it!

5. Travelling gives you perspective

Travelling Open your eyes, Experiencing different cultures can open up new ways of living your life. Meeting people from other cultures will teach you that the way you’ve been looking at the world isn’t the way everybody else does. Seeing the world for yourself will improve your vision and your grip on reality.

The people you meet on the road become some of the most valuable names on your contact list. They later become places on the map to travel. These people give you a glimpse outside the circle of their hometown friends and force you to take in new and refreshing perspectives, and eventually realize that everyone is the same. 7. Travelling helps in Self-development

The people who travel a lot have a better sense of calm and control. Self-development comes with experience throughout life. Travel is the best way to gain new experiences. It helps to understand your choices more strongly.

8. Travelling makes you love your home even more

The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back. It would seem that you are back where you started, same stetting, same people, same problems. Yet you are not the same. You are new, full of new knowledge, experience and idea.

Through travelling, we learn that people of all cultures share the same hopes and aspirations that we have. Yes, outside appearances are often vastly different. We pray to different Gods. We dress in different manners and have different traditions and languages. Some cultures are outgoing and others are more reserved and apathetic, but all cultures love their children, are proud of their heritage, want to improve conditions for their families and leave a legacy of some sort behind. Through travelling our preconceptions are challenged and you will see other, perhaps better, ways of bringing about positive things.
